Kemble Upright Piano in Preston, Gloucestershire for sale

This is a Kemble upright piano circa 1974. It is small and compact and has a lovely tone. Full 88 note keyboard and over strung and under damped. The dimensions are 110cm high 52cm deep 140cm wide. This piano has a superior Schwander action that has been stripped down and rebuilt with new springs, tapes, key bed and hammer rest baize, I have also re polished the keyboard - there are no chips to the keys. The hammers are in good shape with little wear on them and both pedals function correctly. It is tuned to concert pitch and plays fine with a nice mellow/medium tone. It would suit a beginner to intermediate player (up to Grade 5) or for someone who has minimal space. The casing is in fair to good condition, however it has had some repairs in its time and there are a few age related marks and some wear to the edges (see pictures). There is a small piece broken off the music desk which I have repaired - the price reflects this. However, all in all, it is a very tidy little piano, looks fine, plays nicely and will serve its new owner well. To listen to the piano being played by clicking on the youtube link in the listing.
